My mother is in serious decline

Fun and games...  I am trying to change flight tickets to get back to the U.S.  I am leaving Peter in Brazil, staying with some wonderful friends of ours. My 96 year old mother has a failing body and an alert mind. I will go back to put her into a nursing home, but she is very unhappy about the situation.
